Unique Home vs Easy Wood: which is better for vinyl & SPC flooring?
Both businesses score well, but they solve different problems for a vinyl or SPC job. Unique Home's reviews are dominated by actual SPC installation work, while Easy Wood's feedback centers more on showroom experience and material selection. This comparison uses our methodology to weigh what matters for this specific job: installation execution, not just product range.
The differences that matter
- Installation track record. Unique Home's reviews describe actual SPC installs with named installers (Fai, Lay, RY) and turnaround times of 3-5 days, while Easy Wood's praise centers on showroom service rather than on-site installation detail.
- Aftersales response. Unique Home has a documented case of fixing a flooded kitchen within hours, whereas Easy Wood's data doesn't mention post-installation issue handling.
- Product breadth vs specialization. Easy Wood stocks a wider range of timber and composite products with free samples and technical advice, while Unique Home's feedback is narrowly focused on SPC flooring plus occasional cabinet work.
- Composite score and rating. Unique Home leads on both composite score (91.8 vs 88.5) and Google rating (4.9 from 174 reviews vs 4.8 from 115), driven partly by a higher sentiment-weighted rating sub-score.

What reviewers say
Unique Home - Flooring & Cabinet Specialist
Customers who write reviews describe a steady pattern of neat installs and quick replies. Many name salesman Fai for helpful advice and follow-through. Praise for pricing is common, with several calling the cost fair for the quality.
Most reviewers mention SPC and tatami flooring, plus a built-in wardrobe and office work. One reviewer noted a small delay, which they blamed on their own last-minute changes. The team handled those changes without fuss, according to that same reviewer.
Easy Wood Sdn Bhd
Easy Wood consistently delivers on product quality and speed, with customers naming the comfortable showroom and attentive staff-particularly Mr Chew-as standout touches. Material durability and fair pricing anchor a straightforward buying experience in Puchong.
The business stocks a wide range of timber and composite products (their website lists outdoor decking, ceiling strips, wall panelling, bamboo decking, and WPC panels) and operates out of a large warehouse. Staff emphasize consultation and supplier connections, making it a stop for both retail and project-based buyers in the Klang Valley and beyond.
Which should you pick?
Pick Unique Home - Flooring & Cabinet Specialist if
- You want a team whose recent reviews are specifically about SPC installation quality and speed
- You value a named point of contact who follows up fast if something goes wrong after install
- You're prioritizing installation neatness and turnaround over browsing a wide catalog
Pick Easy Wood Sdn Bhd if
- You want to see and compare a wide range of timber and composite materials in person first
- You'd rather get free samples and talk through options with staff like Mr. Chue or Kak Yan before committing
- You're still deciding between flooring types and want a showroom conversation, not just an installer
Verdict
If the job is specifically vinyl or SPC installation, Unique Home fits better: its reviews are built around that exact work, with named installers, fast turnaround, and a documented quick fix when a problem came up after the job. Easy Wood makes more sense if you're still comparing flooring materials and want a showroom experience with samples and advice before you commit to SPC over timber or another option. Both carry strong composite scores, but the fit here comes down to whether you've already decided on SPC (go Unique Home) or you're still shopping around (go Easy Wood).
